Her shining coat and confirmation belie Morwena’s age of 24. Still a grand mare, she is the matriarch of our herd. Bred by Tom Davies and his wife in British Columbia, she only has two full sisters still living. One of her last show triumphs was winning Reserve Grand Champion at the Centennial Celebration Show in 2006.
Rhi has proven herself in dressage and English Pleasure. In 2009, she had the highest Training Level score in the Indiana Dressage Society. She has inherited her dam’s powerful movement, with her sire’s flash. She will be continue her training at First Level.
Sara is a wide, deep-bodied mare, with a beautifully refined head, the same big, bold movement of her sire and dam. She was an excellent mother, bonding immediately with her first foal, Banquo Caradoc.
Ginger in now almost as tall as her 15.1 dam—and still growing. Her gaits are wonderful: her trot has amazing loft and scope, a huge canter, and panther-like walk. Handled since birth, she is friendly yet respectful. She is still growing, but will be deep and wide, typical to Brynarian-bred stock. She will be started summer of 2011.
Thornlea Honeysuckle Rose (Section B)
Rosie has been graciously loaned to us by Jerry and Barbara Gardner for our daughter Virginia, who loves her dearly. Rosie returns this favor by clearly showing that she prefers Virginia over the rest of us.
Mary’s Brenin
This is an amazing cob and I wish there were more out there like him. Brenin has been trained in: driving (in every configuration possible), jumping, and in dressage. The last three years, he has been used in combined training—and LOVES cross-country! Now retired at 24 because of arthritis, he will be coming home to us as a companion for Cary, our yearling colt.
