Gallod Rhiannon Our Welsh Cobs are being bred and trained to fit the needs and goals of the Adult Amateur. Their size and eagerness to learn, combined with an agile athletic ability, will delight the rider who plans on growing within his or her discipline.

Welsh Cobs have been in the United States since the mid-1950s, however many riders and trainers are still unfamiliar with this section of the Welsh breed. Therefore, we are currently focusing on training and showing our mares, locally and regionally. We are participating in both schooling and recognized USDF competitions as well as local dressage clinics, such as Maryal Barnett and Jeff Ashton Moore.

Our foundation mare, Brynarian Morwena, is from the Llanarth bloodline—known for their athletic movement and performance abilities. Morwena's full brother, B. Brenin ap Maldwyn, is being used in British Columbia to breed top-notch eventing mounts. We have bred Morwena to two outstanding stallions: Nebo Calonog and Gallod Bang On Time, producing two daughters by each stallion. These four fillies are the basis of the Banquo herd.

Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in more information about Welsh Cobs or would like to visit our farm. Our phone, address, and email are listed below. We are located about 45 minutes northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana, just off I-69 at exit 45 (the Alexandria exit). We are about an hour and fifteen minutes from either the Dayton or Indianapolis airports.
